For their Belgian facilities, based out of Hasselt (Visys NV which became part of Key Technology 4 years ago), we are looking to strenghten the Engineering team with 2 Software Engineers (M/F).

De functie

• Top-quality software implementations in domains such as machine vision, industrial process control, human-machine and machine-machine interfacing, using modern design tools, technologies and agile software development principles.
• Writing and maintaining tests for integration, regression, UI, performance and burn-in.
• Taking ownership of software release processes, including formalizing test procedures.
• Testing of release upgrades with associated data migration, and testing the automated software installation.
• Analyzes software requirements and specifications to determine feasibility of the design within time and cost constraints.
• In collaboration with several departments identify, specify and develop robust diagnostic capabilities.
• Provides second level technical support for internal customers (Applications, Service).
• Developing documentation and training content and participating in new product introduction teams.

Het profiel

• Master degree in Engineering (M.Sc), with a specialization in computer science. Plus 3 – 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with programming, within the Linux operating system/environment.
• Experience with software testing, integration testing, UI testing, test frameworks, test automation.
• Experience with build tools, source code versioning and collaboration tools.
• Experience in a team environment with a sense of shared responsibility for the product.
• Knowledge of C++, OO design, Phyton and Qt and/or Boost is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of English and Dutch. Other European languages are a plus.
• Willingness to, occasionally, travel to costumer sites.
